Bank robbery
As for John Dillinger being involved with the Mohawk bank robbery in Indiana near Greenfiel, Indiana, I haven't found any evidence that supports his involvement, but Dillinger robbed a lot of banks so it is possible. Thank you. 7ony Stewart, author of Dillinger, The Hidden Truth.

grandfather bank president
my grandfather was the bank president on march 6, 1934. Looking for newspaper article for the bank robbery in sioux falls south dakota fron the daily argus-leader paper. I found a picture of the paper but can't find the article ...

Dillinger sighting
My father, born in 1921, had a face-to-face with John Dillinger as a boy. He was pumping gas at his father station/restaurant, "Far Away Joes" in what is now Palos Hills, IL (111th and Southwest Highway). John was in the front seat and the gas tank was in the hood in those days. Dillinger was wanted by the police and staring right into the face through the windshield at my dad. My dad said he had never been so scared and excited in his life.
